Like many who walk this path, Ryan has faced his own trip through the graveyard—battling extreme depression, anxiety, unruly anger, crippling grief, immense shame, and the weight of long-term loneliness, longing, and spiritual disconnection.

Through many medicines, dedicated mind-body-spirit practices, and the generous support of teachers who helped prevent the final drowning, he was given a way through—transforming wounds into wisdom and suffering into service.

Now, he holds a unique role within the Plant Medicine Portal, called to be both a guardian and a guide.

Ryan challenges facilitators to uphold the highest standards, ensuring that those who seek The Portal’s Seal of Integrity meet the integrity, accountability, and depth of experience required.

He works closely with individuals before, during, and after their ceremonies—preparing them for true transformation and guiding them to actually integrate their experiences into the formation of their next level of well-being and purpose. His approach is rooted in discipline, reverence, and an unwavering commitment to real, lasting results.

With training in Hatha Yoga, Shamanic Reiki, Transformational Breathwork, Men’s Work Facilitation, and the AlphaWave Parts Work system—a fusion of yoga, energy work, Christianity, Buddhist teachings, functional anatomy, and fusion psychology—Ryan offers a grounded, holistic approach to self-awareness and healing.
